Hello 2018!!

Wow, does time fly or what?? I've been pondering 2018 for awhile now, and how it relates to this very fun nail polish hobby I have.

I have decided to go on a lower buy. I have a ~lot~ of nail polish, over 1000 bottles, many many untried.

So this year I am going to buy up to 3-4 bottles of polish from Polish Pickup per month, because it's hard to get them otherwise, and perhaps an odd limited release here or there. I've been good with the Hella Holo Customs FB page, haven't been interested in too many of them, so I think this lower buy will be a good thing.  I am going to save up for Black Friday deals, because I noticed this year that a lot of things came back for Black Friday and I could pick them up with that budget.

In 2017, I only wore 1 repeat, Nine Zero Lacquer's Spooky Lights, and that was because the picture I took last year wasn't really great and I wanted a new one, and I like that polish anyways.

I started keeping track of my manis in 2017 (and weirdly started my notebook at the back?? LOL), and having a list of my favorites of 2017, both mainstream and indie- and I will keep doing that, it's fun to see how many manicures I did and different polishes, and which ones made the awesome list.

So, for 2018, I am going to do 99% untrieds again, and one mani a week I am going to do a
mainstream brand. I've been totally neglecting my OPIs, China Glazes, Orlys, Morgan Taylors, etc., in favor of my indie polishes.

And my goal is 104 manis this year, 2 a week. I think totally doable!

Here was my New Year's Eve manicure, Vapid Happy Freaking New Year 2017 and an ILNP Rouge accent. Both were super easy to apply!!

I hope all of you have a wonderful 2018 as we continue on this journey we call life!!

Live your life with love in your hearts and glitter on your nails!
