Try it Tuesday- Lacquester Poppy Like it's Hot?

This is such a unique and pretty polish by Lacquester! This was a Hella Holo Customs polish from August.  I bought this and Bingo Flamingo- and I'm still waiting for Bingo Flamingo (it's December 5, 2017 when I'm writing it- but it is on it's way finally!!).  Apparently they're having customs issues. I knew these would take awhile to get to me (Lacquester is in the Netherlands, so I knew shipping would be ages).

But this polish- wow, it was worth the wait! It is so pretty, and totally unique to my collection.  It's a dusty blue with red and gold glitters and flakies, and I really, really love this polish.

These pictures are under my daylight bulbs.

I did 3 coats for opacity, and I did put 2 coats of top coat (Seche Vite) on, just for smoothness- the glitters aren't super chunky or anything, though.

This is a macro- there is a LOT of stuff going on in this polish!

So overall, I love this polish! I don't know if I'd order directly from the site again, just because of shipping time- but I truly am not holding that against them at all, I was prepared to wait. Color4nails stocks Lacquester, and that's where I'd gotten the others I had. This one was a Hella Holo Customs exclusive, so that was why I ordered the way I did.

I highly recommend the Hella Holo Customs FB group, if you're on Facebook. There are some fun and unique polishes!!

Nail Mail - Facebook Destash!!!

The No Trash Destash and Nearly No Rules Destash pages on FB are addicting! It's super fun to find some old lemmings (and I am of course seeing others I must have!). This is from 2 different destashes, but I just combined, lol.

This is my first Painted Polish, and I really wanted this one! These destashes are a fun way to conquer lemmings, or just try polishes from new-to-you brands.

Try it Tuesday- Lacquester Gilded Boa

Have you tried Lacquester polishes? I really really like their polishes! I get them mostly at Color4nails, as they are in the Netherlands and it's a shipping nightmare to get them from there (I'm still waiting for the Hella Holo customs from August, but I did kind of expect that).

This is Lacquester's Gilded Boa. It was a Holomaniacs Facebook custom polish, and it is so pretty!

It was an easy polish to work with, 2 coats and it was fully opaque. I really enjoy this color! I love purples, and this has a lot going on in it that makes it interesting.
