Mainstream Mani Monday- Orly Charged Up

I like Orly as a brand, they have generally great polishes, but though I liked the end result of this, the formula was soooooo watery!

This was 3 hard to control coats.

It's a pretty blurple color, and I thought it would end up a streaky mess because of the formula, but it didn't, so I was glad, lol. I don't mind doing 3 coats if it ends up looking good.

In the closeup up can see it looks kind of like a crelly polish, with that kind of juicy look that jelly polishes have, with the opacity of a cream.

I got this on clearance at Sally's, and if you're not a beginner and can really control a polish I'd get it (if it's on clearance!). If you're a newbie, skip it! It's tough to work with.

Mainstream Mani Monday Orly Sparkling Garbage

I think this polish is so cool- I did 4 thin coats to build it up, and it's a really neat look!

I like the color a lot, it's a softer green, and I really like the scattered holo effect.  I didn't use any "undies," this is just the polish itself.

You can really see the holo in the macro.


I really like the soft green color, and I can see that it would also make a good topper with one coat on top of a green (or whatever color) polish.
