Nail Mail - Vapid

Vapid had a release of new polishes in April (2018), and so I picked up a few, plus one of the Vapicorn polishes I didn't get the first time around!

I love the looks of these polishes, and Vapid always has good formulas!

I'm not sure what is going on with the shipping, I was charged $8, and I thought I might get some back in a refund, but I'm pretty sure I didn't. I know they say you will never pay more than $8 (in the US), but $8 is a lot for 4 polishes, I think. Now, if I had added some body stuff in, that weighs a lot, and then the $8 is a good deal. But I didn't need any body stuff this time.

Oh well!

Nail Mail Vapid- My Little Vapicorns

Vapid Lacquer did a spring collections called My Little Vapicorns. I got a couple, plus 2 thermals!

L-r   Fling-a hot pink to lighter pink thermal, Fizzlepop Berrytwist!, See, Now You're Thinking Like a Pony, and Clique, a purple to pink thermal.

The rest of the collection were gorgeous, too, another pink, a yellow and a green pastel- I may pick those up at some point too. You really can't go wrong with Vapid!

Vapicorns is what the FB fan group is called, if you love Vapid, come join the fun!

Try it Tuesday- Vapid Disambiguation (on a Wednesday because I forgot yesterday!)

I work in Career Services in a University, and yesterday and today were big career fairs, and I forgot to post because I was running around!!!

I like thermal polishes, and since my nails are medium length, I get a nice transition usually!

Vapid does great thermals, so I knew this would be a good one, and it's super pretty! Teal (warm) to purple (cool) thermal. It seemed very sensitive to temperature change on me, which I like.

It also has a gorgeous shimmer throughout it, which adds to how pretty it is! I did 3 coats, but I really think you could get away with 2.

These first two pictures I forced a transition with hot water- it was so so cold where I do my nails! It's March in North Carolina, and it's freezing (like, literally 32 degrees last night!!!).











This picture shows a not forced transition- it looks like a gradient!

Here's another with a more natural transition.

Oh, and while you're shopping for polish on their website, check out their face and body products (and nail sauce!). Their body stick (like a stick lotion) has done wonders for my dry icky heels!!!

Nail Mail- Vapid Purge 2017

My Vapid purge order came!! You do have to be a member of their FB group, Vapicorns,  to participate, and you definitely need ninja fingers.  I was cart jacked on several things, but I went into it knowing that would happen, so was happy with what I did end up with!! They did also combine shipping, so what you're seeing is 3 separate orders combined, lol.

Basically they put all their stock of polish and body/nail products (soap, lotions, nail sauce, etc.) for sale super cheap ($5 for nail polish, $3-4 for body and nail stuff). I don't do wax, but they also sell wax and apparently it's awesome.

So I got 9 polishes and 3 body lotion sticks, a fluffy soap and a big nail sauce.

This is Insipid, Hard Candy, Milky Way Dirty Holo XXX, and Much Muchier

This one is Witching Hour 1-off, Nonsense, Krampus 1-off, Ruffian and Magellanic Cloud (1-offs are slightly "wrong" from what the finished product ended up to be).

The body and nail stuff - the sticks are body lotion sticks, this will be my first time trying them, then the big tub is fluffy soap, and the smaller tub is nail sauce.

I did get cart jacked for several things, but I expected that, lol. I'm excited for these polishes- and these body bars are AMAZING! I've used them on my heels, it's so easy to apply, not gooey at all, and then I sleep in socks and my heels are so so soft! Like, I wish you really knew me and my icky dry feet, so you could really appreciate how great these body bars are, lol.

2017 SPAMALAMA!! Vapid Rite of Exorcism

Vapid put out a trio for Halloween, and I saw this polish and had to have it. It's a gorgeous shade of purple with flakies. It's gorgeous, did I say that??

Vapid has some amazing polishes, and the formulas are always great.

Vapid Nail Lacquer Black Friday 2017 haul

I was so excited for the Vapid Black Friday sale! I got some fluffy soap (some for gifts, one for me, lol), a couple of wax samples, and there was a little mix up with the listing of scents, so the maker threw in a super generous size of a whipped sugar scrub!!! Their Facebook fan page is Vapicorns, it's a great group.

The polishes I got were (l-r) Balam, Disambiguation (a thermal!!) and HFNY '17. I got the whipped soap in Let's Summon Demons and Candy Cloud scents.

These are gorgeous! I can't wait to try the polishes and use the fluffy soap!!!!
